Buttered Cloverleaf Rolls

These have been a family favorite for years and the recipe has been passed down through generations.
Ingredients

3 cups of very warm water (more than luke warm, but not hot)
4 packages of Yeast
3 teas salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of milk and 1 cup of butter melted
10 cups of flour

Mix together yeast and 1/4 of the 3/4 cup of sugar. Add very warm water and let yeast dissolve. Let rise.

In large mixing bowl mix together salt, remaining sugar, 2 eggs, melted butter and milk. Once the yeast mixture rises, add it to the above and mix well. Gradually add flour using mixer until about the 5 cup. Continue adding one cup at a time mixing with wooden spoon or large spatula, mixing well. Once mixture begins to get less sticky, use your hands and knead in last two cups of flour well.

Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 - 8 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning once to butter top. Cover  and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch dough down. Roll into balls;place three balls each in greased muffin cups. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Butter tops with basting brush and cool on wire racks. Enjoy! From my home to yours - Michelle

To Freeze: Use disposable muffin pans. After the rolls rise, cover with saran wrap very tightly and freeze. Just pull them out right before you make dinner and let them thaw well. Bake according to the above instructions.
