The Best Ever Banana Pudding

5 cups of Milk
1 cup of sugar
7 egg yolks
1 teas salt
1/2 cp of corn starch
1 tbls and 2 teaspoons of vanilla
4 bananas sliced thin
Box of vanilla wafers

In a Large Sauce Pan combine sugar, salt and cornstarch and GRADUALLY add milk a little at a time over medium heat stirring continuously (make sure you stir constantly so it does not burn or stick... you can use a double boiler if you have one). Once milk is all in and mixture has become thicker, then stir in the egg yolks and continue to stir. Cook until very thick!!! Then add a tablespoon of butter and the vanilla and continue to cook until boiling again stirring continuously. Set pudding aside. In a mixing bowl combine egg whites and beat on high until slightly thick and begin adding sugar 1/3 cp very slowly and once stiff add teas of vanilla until stiff and fluffy.

Layer the pudding, vanilla wafers, and bananas in a deep casserole dish several times and then pour meringue over the top and use spoon to form peaks.

Bake in the oven on 350 degree oven until merigue is slightly brown.

I separate the eggs by hand but you can use an egg separater.

Good Life Table Talk

He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

Go around the table and ask each person if they remember when the last time they lied was? Do you think little lies, you consider not harmful, are sin? Why is it so important to tell the truth no matter what, even it it means we will be hurt and look bad in the process?

What we do in secret when no one is looking, is just as important, if not more important than what we do when everyone sees. Why? Because the reason we do not lie should not rely on what people think about us, but on keeping our word, speaking truth in love, and building God like character so people can look at us and see Christ.

Lord, help us to be truthful in all we do. Take off the areas which we are blinded and help us to see ways we lie that we are not even aware of. Help us to let our yes be yes and our no be no and be people of our word.
